polskiegzamin B1·B2

Terms of use

The rules for using polskiegzamin. In short: this is a trainer, not the exam, and no certificate is issued here.

1. Who runs the service

The polskiegzamin service (the "App") is run by the party named at the end of this document (the "Operator"). For anything at all, write to the e-mail address in the "Contact" section.

2. What the App is

The App is a tool for preparing on your own for two Polish language exams: telc Język polski B1·B2 and the state certificate exam. It offers the full written paper against the clock, practice on single modules, automatic marking of closed tasks, and marking of the writing module by a language model. For the oral part of the telc exam it offers a marked oral exam: recorded answers are turned into text, and a language model marks them on telc's criteria — from the transcript, without listening to the recording, so pronunciation is marked only indirectly. The App does not mark the oral part of the state exam — it provides the task sheet and the clock for it.

The App is not affiliated with telc GmbH or with the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language, does not run exams and issues no certificates. A score in the App has no official standing and is indicative only.

3. Your account

An account is needed to save results. You create one with Google or with a link sent to your e-mail — there is no password. The address you give must be yours and current.

The account is personal. It may not be shared or resold. You are responsible for what is done after signing in to your account.

4. Paid access and payment

Some sets are free. Full access to the rest is bought for a fixed term — the number of days is shown at checkout. Prices are in Polish złoty. Payment is handled by Stripe: BLIK or card. The Operator never sees or stores your card details.

Access starts when the payment clears. A further purchase adds days to the ones you already have. Sets added while your access runs are included.

The marked oral exam has a limit on sessions: one per account is free, and paid access adds ten for every 90 days, to be used while it runs. A session counts from the first recorded answer in which speech can be heard.

Sessions can also be bought in packs — bought separately, they never expire and work on the sets open on the account. The free session is used first, then those from paid access, and those from packs last.

5. Withdrawal and refunds

A consumer has 14 days to withdraw from the contract. If you start using paid access within that time, you are agreeing that we begin providing the service straight away — and from then on the right of withdrawal covers only the part of the access you have not used.

In practice: if you have not opened any paid set or started an oral session from the paid allowance since buying, write to the address in the "Contact" section and we will refund the full amount. A pack of sessions is refunded in full while no session from packs has been started. Payment complaints are handled within 14 days.

6. Acceptable use

The App is for your own study. You may not: download tasks in bulk or by script, copy them, publish or share them outside the App, work around access limits, or interfere with the service.

7. Intellectual property

The tasks, texts, code and layout of the App belong to the Operator and are protected by copyright. The name and mark "telc" belong to telc GmbH — the App uses them only descriptively, to name the exam it prepares you for.

The structure, timings and thresholds come from telc's official mock exam (© telc GmbH). That mock exam and its recordings are a free download from telc.net.

The state exam's papers are materials published by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language at certyfikatpolski.pl. The App presents them as practice material, naming the sitting each paper comes from and its publisher.

8. Availability and liability

The Operator works to keep the App running without interruption but does not guarantee continuous availability — maintenance windows and errors in tasks are possible.

The recordings in the telc sets are generated: the run is taken from telc's official mock exam, but the voices are synthetic rather than studio actors. The state exam's papers carry the recordings from those same sittings, as published by the Commission. The state-exam practice sets written by the Operator have recordings generated the same way as the telc sets, with the run measured off the Commission's recordings. The Operator is not liable for the outcome of the real exam or for decisions made on the basis of results from the App.

9. Changes to these terms

The Operator may change these terms for good reason — changes in the law, in the scope of the service, or in how payment works. We announce a change in the App or by e-mail in advance. Continuing to use the App after a change takes effect means you accept it.

10. Complaints and governing law

Complaints are sent to the e-mail address in the "Contact" section; we reply within 14 days. Polish law applies. A consumer may use the European Commission's ODR platform and the help of a municipal or district consumer ombudsman.
